OUR COMMITTEES:
Economic Development Committee – Meetings held the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:45 am at the DTC office.

  • Catalyst to affect change and to take action as it relates to DTC economic development issues;
  • Responsible for implementation of the vision, actively involved and will participate in retention and recruitment of businesses;
  • Helps to set guidelines for storefronts and general aesthetics of Downtown;
  • And, helps to set policies by making recommendations to the Board.

Loan Program – Meetings as needed.

  • Responsible for reviewing loan applications;
  • Works with staff to promote the loan program to financial institutions and property owners;
  • Works with staff to maintain and expand upon funding programs;
  • And, helps to set policies by making recommendations to the Board.

Finance Committee –

  • Responsible for establishing guidelines regarding the budget;
  • Responsible for monitoring the budget on a monthly basis;
  • And, helps to set policies by making recommendations to the Board.

Membership & Promotions Committee – Meetings held monthly at 11:30 am, (various restaurants).

  • Responsible for membership recruitment and retention;
  • Works with staff to develop membership marketing and promotional materials;
  • Works to gather information about member concerns and ideas as they pertain to membership;
  • Works with staff to maintain and expand membership benefits;
  • And, helps to set policies by making recommendations to the Board.
  • Works with staff in planning out the DTC annual promotions calendar of events;
  • Formulates new ideas for seasonal and/or annual promotions;
  • Establishes alliances with DTC members for the purpose of creating partnerships;
  • Works with staff in developing an annual marketing campaign;
  • And, helps to set policies by making recommendations to the Board

Parking & Transportation Committee – Meetings generally held on a monthly basis at City Hall.

  • Key contact with City of St. Cloud staff regarding parking and transportation issues;
  • Works with staff to gather information about member concerns, ideas as they pertain to parking in order to enable the DTC to initiate or react to those issues;
  • Works to understand parking and transportation issues
  • And, helps to set policies by making recommendations to the Board.
